Recovery
Your recovery from an event will be based off of how much preparation you put into your training. Someone with more prerace conditioning will recover quicker than an individual who trained infrequently. Regardless, speed work will be at a minimal for the next few weeks until your legs are recovered. However, you should be active in walking and stretching to help in the recovery process. The stretches should be light and little, if any, resistance. The key is to be patient and not overly aggressive in your next few weeks of running.
